Wildlife Specieslist
One of the goals of the project is to inventory the fauna and the flora of the Batang Toru forest. To do so, we use camera traps. We also list all the plants and animal that we see while walking the forest. When we can photograph species that we can’t identify ourselves, we send the pictures to specialists that help us for the identification.
A botanist will also come to Batang Toru to help us identifying tree species and vegetation types.
